- Willingness to work with elderly/mentally ill.
- Ability to clearly communicate kindly and professionally.
- Ability to navigate a computer and learn a few systems.
SERVICES ASSISTANT/ MEDICAL RECORDS CLERK DUTIES- Assist LMSW's develop social history, social assessments to indentify individual resident needs and appropriate goals.
- Encourage and document progress of residents timely.
- Recieve, log, compile medical record requests.
- Scanning and uploading pertinent information into PCC.
- Assist other department heads as various needs arise.
- Assist on the Manager on duty rotation.
- Assist in the education of the community regarding aging, rights of residents, facility services and other related topics.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN SOCIAL SERVICES ASSISTANT/STAFF High school diploma.
Understanding of Medical Record requests, or willingness to learn.
SSD certificate or willing to obtain.
Ability to be physically present onsite at the community Good listening skills Ability to use Word and Excel, email, and have intermediate computer skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations Desire to work with the elderly/Mentally ill WORK SCHEDULEThis full-time position works 8-hour shifts.
