Trailer Shop Foreman
Position Description:
Come be a part of the expanding Service Department team at Kansas City Peterbilt & Utility Trailer Sales!Utility Trailer is seeking a Trailer Shop Foreman.
The Trailer Shop Foreman is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the trailer shop, including the supervision and training of the trailer mechanics, scheduling of work, and working with the parts department to ensure the accuracy of the parts ordered.
The Foreman is also responsible for ensuring that all trailer repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
? Supervise and train trailer mechanics? Schedule and assign work to trailer mechanics? Work with parts department to order and inventory parts and supplies? Inspect and approve all completed repairs and maintenance? Ensure that all trailer repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety? Troubleshoot and diagnose complex trailer problems? Maintain accurate records of all trailer repairs and maintenance? Work closely with the Service Manager to develop and implement new maintenance procedures and standards? Stay up-to-date on the latest trailer repair and maintenance technologies
Qualifications:
? High school diploma or equivalent? 5
years of experience as a trailer mechanic? 2
years of experience in a supervisory role - Preferred? Strong leadership and organizational skills? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills? Ability to work independently and as part of a team?
